More than a number
on the scale.
EMSCULPT builds muscle in a chosen area. Enter your weight to explore what a change in fat and muscle could look like.

Your weight stays in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent.
Know your body fat percentage?
We use 30% as an example, not a guess about your body. If you have an InBody result, use that percentage here.
Find your starting point with InBody ↗A what-if, not a treatment forecast. Weight alone cannot tell us how much fat you have—or what EMSCULPT will change. Choose the changes below to understand the math.
What if fat went down
and muscle went up?
You could weigh the same and have a different balance of fat and muscle. Move the sliders to see how that works.
Try a change.
Starting example: 160 lb, with 30% body fat.
These are changes you choose, not amounts EMSCULPT is expected to deliver. For this example, water and other non-fat tissue stay unchanged.
Same scale weight. A different balance.

In a small study, people had a thinner belly-fat layer and a thicker abdominal muscle layer after treatment. Tap either option to explore.
Measured two months after four treatments in 22 people. These are changes in the treated area—not percentages of total body weight lost.

Changes in the treated area
Four abdominal treatments. Follow-up two months after the last treatment.
The slider changes an example starting measurement. It applies the study’s average percentage for illustration; it does not predict your result.
Average change in the belly-fat layer
Bars share a 0–60 mm scale. Percentage change is relative to the starting thickness.
| Abdominal fat-layer thickness | −18.6% |
|---|---|
| Rectus abdominis muscle thickness | +15.4% |
This was a small, uncontrolled study—not a guarantee of benefit. The results describe local MRI tissue thickness, not total fat mass, muscle mass, or whole-body body-fat percentage. Individual outcomes vary. Read the original study ↗
What brings you here?
Choose an example to prepare for your visit—not to determine which treatment you need.
Define the area and the change
Discuss the specific area and what you hope will look different. Compare realistic options and use consistent photographs or appropriate local measurements. No study average guarantees an individual result.
“Which change is realistic for my area with original EMSCULPT?”
Match the service to the goal
Body contouring and weight management are different. If your main goal is weight reduction, start with a broader nutrition and medical conversation.
“Would another approach better address my weight-management goal?”
Keep everyday function in view
Device-induced contractions do not replace a complete training program. If stairs, lifting, or returning to exercise is the goal, discuss rehabilitation and training as well.
“How would this fit with my training, and how would we assess useful progress?”
What original EMSCULPT does
Suncoast offers original EMSCULPT. An applicator uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to cause repeated muscle contractions in a selected treatment area. Our treatment uses electromagnetic muscle stimulation without the radiofrequency heating found in EMSCULPT NEO.
How the energy reaches muscle
The changing magnetic field induces electrical currents that stimulate motor nerves and produce contractions. This is a local treatment with a particular applicator and protocol. It does not reproduce all the benefits of voluntary exercise, balance practice, or progressive strength training.
What it may help with
It is a body-contouring option for people interested in the appearance and muscle characteristics of a specific area. Published original-device studies have examined local fat-layer and muscle-thickness changes. Study averages cannot tell you what change you personally will experience.
Screening and limitations
Discuss pregnancy, implanted electronic devices, metal in or near the treatment area, recent surgery, and hernias. Suitability depends on device labeling and your history. EMSCULPT is not a treatment for obesity or a replacement for medical assessment of weakness, abdominal pain, or a new bulge.
Planning your visit & more details
What the study explorer shows
The explorer uses a small, 22-participant MRI study of four abdominal treatments, with measurements two months later. It distinguishes local tissue thickness from whole-body fat percentage. Moving a slider illustrates the published relative change; it does not model your treatment response.
Where it could fit your goals
You might be interested in a specific contour while also working on nutrition and exercise. Be clear about whether you want a visible local change, improved everyday function, or weight management. These are different goals and may call for different care.
What a session may feel like
Expect repeated, strong muscle contractions, with intensity managed by the practitioner. Discuss the area, applicator, positioning, and how you can signal discomfort. Muscle soreness or cramps can occur. Review your treatment plan and aftercare with Dr. Kari before your session.
Tracking change thoughtfully
Discuss repeat photographs under similar conditions and measurements appropriate to the area. InBody estimates can add whole-body context, but cannot directly verify local MRI changes or prove a treatment caused a difference. Exercise, nutrition, hydration, and normal variation also matter.
Your treatment plan
Your consultation covers the treatment area, applicator, recommended schedule, pricing, and realistic expectations. We discuss how to review your response and whether maintenance fits your goals. Your plan is individualized rather than copied from a research protocol.
Your questions, answered.
Is an 18.6% local change an 18.6-point drop in body fat?
No. The study measured abdominal fat-layer thickness on MRI, not whole-body fat percentage, pounds of fat, or an individual prediction.
When were the study results measured?
The displayed results were measured two months after a course of four abdominal treatments. They are not results after a single session.
Is this EMSCULPT NEO?
No. This clinic has original EMSCULPT. The charts use an original-device study, not NEO marketing averages.
Can InBody prove the treatment caused a change?
No. InBody estimates whole-body composition and is affected by measurement conditions. Training, nutrition, hydration, and other factors also influence trends.
