Wonder, Imagine & Think Together
Big questions. A little forest mischief. A place for your child’s ideas to take flight.
Join Dr. Kari for six weeks of puppet stories, creative play, and thoughtful conversations about courage, fairness, friendship, and seeing things differently.
Check current openings on Outschool, or use “Request Another Time” if a session isn’t available.

A puppet has a problem. A forest picnic needs a fair plan. A surprising mistake becomes the start of something new. Each meeting invites children to try out ideas, hear another point of view, and explain what they think.
There’s room to talk, draw, move, show a toy, or listen before joining in. Dr. Kari brings warmth and humor to conversations shaped by the children’s own curiosity.

Plan a feast for forest friends with different needs and explore what a fair solution could look like.
Get creative while helping Professor Hootwhistle rediscover how to listen to a friend.
Work through Percy the porcupine’s forest dilemma and think about belonging, ownership, and sharing.
Turn an imaginary mishap, drawing, or invention into a chance to discover something unexpected.
Help two puppets explore different answers, then return to a question the group wants to investigate.
A movement warm-up leads into the Wonder Nest, where children bring their questions. Then a puppet story opens the door to discussion, playful challenges, and drawing or making. We finish with something to keep wondering about.
Optional activities between meetings keep the curiosity going. They’re ungraded, require no purchases, and aren’t needed to join the next class.
No independent reading, writing, or previous philosophy experience is required. Children can share through conversation, pictures, movement, or a puppet or toy.
